Juan Carlos Delgado is a prime example of multimedia art. He uses a wide range of media to to showcase his art. Many of his works are considered to be installation art, which is an example of multimedia art. His art engages the senses such as touch and scent. In one of his pieces he uses live flowers - which can engage our smell. In another one of his projects he uses a gas flame - which can engage smell and touch. Unlike most art the remains constant his art changes. The flowers and the active flame are always growing or moving, which in a sense make it alive.
