Week 2 - Pjotr Sapegin's Madama Butterfly

This video's animation reminded me a lot of the same animation in The Nightmare Before Christmas because of the use of dolls. I found it interesting the the men had more facial details then the woman. The man was more like a Ken doll and the women looked like a clay figure with minimum detail to the face, but what the woman lacked in facial features she made up for in hair, unlike the man. I was mesmerized by the movement of her hair in the wind. I was amazed at how freely these figures moved, and that it looked so natural.
