Week 1 - Introduction

I was not enrolled in class the first week, but in reading the syllabus this class looks very interesting, and covers an area of study I am not familiar with, art. The last art class I took was my first year of high school, so I must admit I don't know very much. When I think of art and technology the only thing that comes to mind are cameras for photography, so I am interested in knowing all the other technology that is covered. I am a senior and a criminology major. I have been working full time at a law firm for two years. I am curious has to how social media platforms such as Instagram has changed the way people create and present their art.
